Explore Discover Treasure

You’ll notice this part of the site isn’t a store, but a journey of discovery. I’d love you to join me on this exploration of my work, one piece at a time. Instead of the overwhelming rush of modern life (and being continually pestered to buy now), I invite you to take a moment and come with me on this relaxed journey to learn about the inspirations, work and story that inbues the unique piece of jewellery on this page with it’s sparkle. Browsing should always be an experience you can enjoy at your own pace. I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I did.

Paul’s Promise

The Exact Artefact

The piece you see here is the one you will receive. There's no mass production, no replicas, no substitutions — what you see here is what will be delivered to you.

Materials of Integrity

Every metal and stone is named with honesty. Silver is silver, gold is gold, Lunaesium is Lunaesium. Sometimes I will use stones such as Howlite or Magnesite if they are beautiful - some people dye these and call them turquoise - they are not, and should be celebrated for the beautiful stones they are.

Care & Continuity

Each piece will have it's own special care instructions. I always make you you have all the information you need to keep your piece in tip-top condition.

The Unveiling

Your piece will arrive in a beautiful gift box, and will include a certificate and cleaning cloth.

Aftercare

The story doesn't end when you receive your piece. It's important to me that you're delighted with your jewellery - if you don't love it, you won't wear it. Aftercare for my piece has no time limit; if you need an adjustment or would like the piece given a polish, you can either send it back to me, or visit me at one of the events I attend to do it in person. I create these pieces to bring you joy, and I feel my part shouldn't end when you become its custodian. I love seeing people wear the jewellery I've made as part of their daily rituals - ultimately that's what it's for!

Origins & Inspiration:
Bronze

Bronze is probably the most remarkably underrated metal known to man. There's a whole historical Era named after it, and yet most people know very little about it. Bronze was a critical doorway between the Chalcolithic (Copper) Age and the coming of the Iron Age. Bronze changed everything our ancestors could achieve; it was stronger, more versatile, and sustainable. Broken bronze could be melted down and given a new life as something completely new. From arrowheads to jewellery, it carried both literal and symbolic survival and protection within. Jewellery created from it could be masculine or feminine – and often both.

Symbolism & Meaning

With incredible corrosion-resistance, Bronze endures. It waits in the earth for thousands of years waiting to be discovered, still speaking of the skilled hands that shaped it.

Most people think of bronze as a colour; a dark-reddish brown, or covered in verdigris. We've forgotten that polished Bronze shines like the sun; a subtle gold that exudes warmth and purpose. This is the beauty I'm passionate about re-introducing into our lives.

Meet the
Maker Designer Artist

I'm Paul, and Stuff by Rox began in 2023, when I accidentally fell in love with jewellery making. I stumbled across an innate style that I later found flowed from ancient designs. I started to find images of pieces thousands of years old that reflected my own work. Months later, I survived an out of hospital cardiac arrest – that have a less than 8% survival rate. Obviously it wasn't my time – I'm still here! Perhaps these symbols that instinctively came through me and called to me had a deeper meaning? Often the beautiful work of our ancestors symbolized survival, renewal, and wisdom. I may not consider myself wise, but every unique piece I make is shaped by the spirit of our ancestors. And sometimes I wonder if jewellery making is a gift I was destined to discover.

Making The Right Choice

...or how to avoid making the wrong one!

To buy a piece of jewellery, I truly believe that you should fall in love with it. If you don't love it, you won't wear it.

If you're buying jewellery as a gift for someone, the choice can feel paralysing - but my best advice is that you must love it too.

After all, the most important part of giving of a gift is the love that's imbued as part of that ancient ritual. When you've chosen well, you should feel the anticipation and be just as excited about giving the gift as the person is receiving it.

If you're not sure what to do, your best course is to close the website and sleep on the choice. Sometimes, the best way to decide is to ask yourself "would I be upset if I came back tomorrow and that piece was gone?"

Step into the Treasury

If this treasure has stirred something in you, and you find yourself imagining it as part of your own story — or as a gift woven with meaning for another — you may choose to linger with it a little longer. Select **Discover More…** to unveil its details at your own pace.

When the time feels right, the path to **The Treasury** (our shop) is open through the link **Open The Treasury**. I keep this threshold veiled by default, so you may decide whether to step closer to the act of purchase, or simply continue wandering among other pieces that call to you.

And if you wish to return after reflection, you may place it within **Your Discoveries** — a personal ledger of finds waiting patiently until your heart is certain.

Bring the Age of Ritual Home

Wearable art was important to our ancestors – even the simplest Bronze Spiral shone with a vibrant sun-like warmth. Through jewellery and adornments, they carried this important ritual resonance with them throughout their lives.

Today, jewellery still inspires our own rituals even if we don’t recognise them. There are pieces we can’t live without; some bring luck, or carry a deep sentimental meaning. If you’d like to explore how you can embrace this piece into your own modern daily ritual, click below.
