Workshops
I run hands-on bronze wirework sessions at the festivals and heritage events I trade at, a chance to make something with your own hands rather than just take one home in a bag.
You’ll be working with bronze wire the way it’s been worked for thousands of years, no moulds, no formers, just heat, hammer and patience. Each session runs about 90 minutes, small groups only (up to four people at a time), so there’s proper one-to-one guidance rather than a crowded workshop feel. No experience needed. I’ll take you through everything from annealing the wire to shaping and finishing your piece.
You’ll leave with a finished piece of bronze jewellery you’ve made yourself, and hopefully a bit of the same fascination with the material that keeps me coming back to it.
Sessions cost around £45 per person, and I run them at most events I attend: heritage sites, pagan and living history festivals, and the odd craft fair.
